How to Get There
- From Dar es Salaam: Udzungwa is about 350 km (6–7 hours by road) via Morogoro and Mikumi. The journey is scenic, passing through local villages and the beautiful Mikumi National Park.
- From Mikumi National Park: Only 65 km (about 1.5 hours by road) making it an ideal combination for a safari and hiking adventure.
- From Arusha: Around 700 km (10–12 hours by road) via Morogoro or Iringa. Travelers can also take a flight from Arusha or Dar es Salaam to Iringa Airport, then drive approximately 2 hours to the park entrance.
- By Rail: The Tazara Railway from Dar es Salaam to Mbeya stops at Mang’ula, right near the park’s main gate an adventurous and scenic travel option.
