The adventure continues through Central Serengeti, known for its year-round wildlife density and stunning landscapes. From here, you proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” for an extraordinary big-five viewing experience. Your final day takes you through Tarangire National Park, famed for its giant baobabs, massive elephant herds, and rich wildlife diversity.
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

Day 2: Fly to Northern Serengeti
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport (10 km, 25 minutes drive) for your scenic flight to the Northern Serengeti. This region is known as the prime location for witnessing the dramatic Great Migration river crossings. Upon arrival, enjoy your first game drive en route to the camp. After settling in, enjoy a delicious dinner and relax under the star-filled African sky.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in the Mara River Area
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Mara River region, one of the most action-packed wildlife areas in the Serengeti. Your guide will position you strategically along the riverbanks in hopes of encountering the breathtaking wildebeest and zebra crossings, where thousands of animals brave crocodile-filled waters. After an exciting full day of wildlife viewing, return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Last Morning at Mara River – Transfer to Central Serengeti
Spend the morning enjoying your final moments in the Northern Serengeti. Depending on wildlife movements, you may get another opportunity to witness a river crossing or observe predators taking advantage of the migration herds. Later in the afternoon, begin your drive south toward the Central Serengeti, passing through varied landscapes rich with wildlife.

Day 5: Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Start your day with an early rewarding morning game drive in the Central Serengeti, an area famed for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herds of grazers. After the game drive, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most unique wildlife sanctuaries on earth. Enjoy a comprehensive crater tour with excellent chances of spotting the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, depart The Retreat for Tarangire National Park, known for its vast savannah dotted with baobab trees and its impressive population of elephants. After your game drive, continue your journey back to Arusha and check in again at Arusha Farm House, where your safari concludes in comfort.
